SWAT has worked with Homeowners for twenty years, supplying Burglar and Fire Alarm Systems, Intercom Systems with Remote Door Answer, Television and Telephone cabling, Pool Alarms, Driveway Sensors, and Networking.  (In the past we have also installed Telephone Systems and Central Vacuum Systems.)

From the most meager house or apartment to million-dollar estates, we have excelled in providing "state of the art" systems for protection and convenience. From simple to the most sophisticated security system; From a simple door bell installation to video and intercom for gate control, to chimes for driveways, to voice announcing of approaching visitors, we have performed with great expertise.

Many homeowners are opting for video surveillance - Cameras - to keep an eye on their surroundings: yard, driveway, sidewalks, and streets near the house.

ALARM SYSTEMS - a Mainstay

We provide installation and service of Intrusion Devices, such as door and window contacts, motion sensors, seismic sensors, photo-electric beams, Fire Alarm Sensors, such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, flame detectors, other Safety Devices, such as carbon monoxide detectors, propane and natural gas detectors, sump and lift pump failure alarms, low temperature detectors, and

Convenience Devices, such as freezer failure warning, temperature extreme sensing, and notification of any trouble condition with your system. And don't forget Intercoms, used throughout homes for the past fifty (or so) years, allows communication with door visitors, and other rooms or locations in the home, provides music to be channelled to those locations.

Video Surveillance Devices allow you to record and view what goes on in and around your home both while you are home and when you cannot be there. You may observe babysitters, domestic help, latchkey children, children or pets in your yard or play area, pets in their confinement areas, visitors and vehicles as they enter and leave your property, and of course, any intruder who might happen along.

Personalized Service

Throughout our history, we have bent to serve our family of folks who depend on us, and have put their trust in us to "Serve and Protect."   We try to maintain a personal relationship with our customers, and thus treat them as no other comparable company can, or even try. A definite handshake, sometimes even a "hug" can be expected when visiting on service calls. Our relationship with customers is one of a trusting nature, like "Go ahead, Go anywhere on the property, Do whatever it takes, Need something to drinki? Help yourself, Is there anything I can do to help?" In return for this trust, we give them the utmost in service. We bring in the paper, the mail, clean up after ourselves, Test everything, If it can't be fixed that day, we let the know when we'll be back.  These seemingly Trivial things are important to us and our family.

As a result, over 95 % of our business is repeat or referral.

Convenience Devices

An intercom system may provide music throughout you home, to your patio, and workshop or barn.  You may answer up to three doors from a custom intercom system.

Driveway sensors placed down the drive from your house alert you to vehicles and pedestrians as they approach your home, often long before they may reach the door.  A simple chime, a loud outside horn, or a recorded message may be used to announce the visitor.

A home wired for a home entertainment system will allow you to place speakers and equipment without wiring having to be haphazardly run around the room.  Perhaps you wish to have multiple speaker systems throughout the home connected to a central amplifier.  This can be pre-wired as the hous is being built.  Wiring for the provision of a projection TV might also be considered.

Video is not only for surveillance, but for convenience as well. For instance, a driveway sensor coupled with a camera will alert you to an incoming vehicle, plus let you view who is coming, before they get to the door. This can be connected to your existing TV cable network via a digital video modulator, and then may be viewed on any TV set merely by changing the channel.
