Specialties that might work for You

Whether you are looking for a way to keep an eye on the kids when they get home from school, or check in on your nanny, or grandma, SWAT can help (1)

Do you want to know when someone is coming up your driveway? (2)

Do you wish to do away with keys for your doors? or Do you need to control who goes in which door? and when? (3)

Do you need a portable system you may move from apartment to school dorm to another apartment, and have it notify you when it is activated? (4)

(1) Video might just be the key here. Strategically placed cameras within a home allow the home to be viewed from work, another home, or anywhere via the Internet. An inexpensive digital video recorder can show what is happening now, as well as what has happened in the past - Search mode.

An alarm system with an "open" signal programmed may allow you to be notified whenever someone enters and disarms the alarm.

(2) Buried Driveway sensors alert you whenever someone drives up your driveway, and Infrared sensors alert you to those approaching by foot.

(3) Card Access provides card holders entry into doors at specified times, and not allow them at other specified times.

 (4) Gate access via keypad or card reader with an intercom, gives visitors and customers access to apartment communities, parks, lodges, camgrounds, and other venues, without having to keep gates manned, thus saving thousands of dollars each year.

(5) Sensors connected to cellular transmitters allow remote buildings or facilities to be monitored for intrusion, breakdown, of mechanical failure.

 (6) Lift pumps or remote pumping stations can be monitored with a control unit and cellular transmitter without phone lines.

MOSCOW - 1996

In 1996, I travelled to Moscow, Russia to effect the installation of Fire Alarm Systems in an orphanage, operated by the Institute in Basic Life Principles. Logistically, it was a challenge, as, at the time, there were very few alarm manufacturers whose equipment was accepted in the Russian Federation.

We purchased a Canadian product through a Russian dealer with a Canadian office, and had to transport all equipment ourselves. Finding local supplies of wire and hardware was another challenge, and often had to visit local markets to get what was needed.

IBLP staff performed the entire installation, with my guidance, and continued to service the system for the next ten years, until the center was taken over and operated as a training center for the Russian military.

A church in West Texas called upon us to set up a fire alarm in a former hospital that they were converting into a retirement home for their seniors. We answered the call, and with the help of two young men from Arkansas, and the minister's family, we installed a commercial fire alarm system, in less than a week.

We have supplied alarm equipment, pre-programmed it, and shipped it to a missionary in Paraguay, then answered questions regarding installation and service via email.

I have flown to St. Croix, in the U.S. Virgin Islands to install and service a security system in an Indianapolis busissman's luxury home.

We have sent access control equipment to contractors who migh otherwise be able to obtain it.

More special possibilities:

Agriculture and Confinement Buildings: Supervise Power, Water Pressure, Temperature, Carbon Monoxide and / or Methane gases. Install video surveillance to observe facilities, and stock.

Install devices to detect copper theft, and sound an alarm. No phone line needed.

Consider cameras for your equipment - rear-view cameras help you back up, cameras on pickers, planters, grain augers, anything remote, allows you to view what is happening when you are unable to see directly.

Cameras and other video devices my transmit a mile and more using wireless transmission. Video connected ro the internet, even via wi-fi cna stream video to your home or office from a remote locaation. Now, it is possible to watch grain bins as well as tractors and other equipment remotely.
